Refund Policy

The short version: fourteen days to change your mind for any reason,
and thirty days to tell me it isn't working. Here's exactly what that
means for each thing I offer.
## The Membership
£49 or £99 a month, and you can cancel at any time.
Cancelling stops the next payment. Your membership then runs to the end
of the month you've already paid for, and months already paid aren't
refunded — you keep access for what you've bought.
**First fourteen days.** Cancel within 14 days of your very first
payment and you get it back in full. Nothing is deducted.
**The 30-day promise** applies here. See below.
## 1:1 Coaching
£900 for three months, or £500 for one month. One payment, up front,
for a fixed term. It isn't a subscription — there's no renewal and
nothing to cancel.
### Fourteen days — change your mind
Any reason, or none at all. Email matt@mattlocoaching.com within 14
days of paying.
**On the three-month term**, you get your money back in full. I don't
charge for coaching time in the first fourteen days, even though I'd be
entitled to.
**On the one-month term**, I deduct a proportionate amount for the part
of the month already delivered — because fourteen days is roughly half
of it. In practice that means your refund is reduced by up to half. If
that doesn't sit right with you, buy the three months, or wait out the
fourteen days before we start.
### Thirty days — if it isn't working
**This applies to the three-month term only.** On the one-month term
the whole thing happens inside thirty days, so the fourteen-day right
above is your protection instead.
Tell me by day 30 that it isn't working and I'll refund you for the
part of the three months you haven't used — as long as all four of
these are true:
- You logged your food every day. Two missed days is fine, thirty
isn't
- You completed every session. Move them around your week if you need
to, but done
- You came to every call
- You told me by week three that you were unsure, so I had a chance to
put it right rather than hearing about it at the end
One refund per person, ever, across anything I offer.
### After that
What you've paid isn't refunded. There's nothing further to pay either
— the term was bought in one payment.
And if something significant changes in your life, talk to me before
you decide anything. Pausing a programme is usually possible, and it's
a better answer than either of us pretending.
### At the end of your term
Three honest answers: go again, step up to 1:1 Sessions at £450 a
month, or we're done. If you've got what you came for, that last one is
the right answer and I'll say so.
## 1:1 Sessions
£450 a month, with two weeks' notice to cancel.
**Moving a session:** 24 hours' notice and we'll move it within the
same month where the diary allows — including doubling up a later week
to catch up, as long as we agree it in advance. Less than 24 hours and
the session is gone. Sessions don't carry over into the next month.
Tell me at least 14 days before your next payment date and nothing
further is taken — your sessions just run to the end of the month
you've already paid for. Tell me inside those 14 days and one more
payment goes through, with your sessions running through that month.
The reason for the notice is simple: your slot is held in my diary at a
fixed time, and once it's gone I can't sell it at short notice.
Months already paid aren't refunded — you keep the sessions you've
bought.
**First fourteen days.** None of the above applies to your very first
payment. Cancel within 14 days of starting and you get a full refund,
less a proportionate amount for any sessions you've already had.

## The Blood Panel
£225, one-off, available alongside anything or on its own.
**Full refund any time before it's ordered.** Once it's ordered, it
isn't refundable — that money goes to the laboratory the moment it's
placed and it can't be recovered, whether or not you've had the sample
taken or seen the results.
**You'll always be told the date it's being ordered, and exactly what
it costs, in writing, before it's placed.** So you'll never be
surprised by this.
The 30-day promise doesn't apply to the panel. Once it's run, the
results are yours and the work is done.
## The Shift
Paid in full before the start date.
Your 14-day right applies from the date you buy. If the cohort starts
inside those 14 days and you asked me to begin, I deduct a
proportionate amount for the part already delivered. Once the six weeks
have run, no refund is due.
The programme runs to fixed dates, so days or calls you miss can't be
refunded or carried over — though I'll always try to help you catch up
inside the six weeks.
## The 30-day promise, in full
If by day 30 you tell me it isn't working, I'll refund you:
- **1:1 Coaching, three months** — the part of the three months you
haven't used
- **1:1 Sessions** and **The Membership** — the month you're in, with
no further payment taken
Provided all of these are true:
- You logged your food every day, with no more than two missed days —
where your service includes food review
- You completed every prescribed session and logged it
- You attended every call or live session booked in that time
- You told me by day 21 that you were unsure
It doesn't apply to 1:1 Coaching bought for one month, to The Blood
Panel, or to The Shift, for the reasons given above.
One refund per person, ever, across anything I offer.
## Existing clients
If you're part-way through something you bought under earlier prices or
earlier terms, you keep what you signed up to until your current term
or billing month ends. Nobody gets moved onto new terms mid-way, in
either direction.
## Your legal rights
Everything above is in addition to your statutory rights under the
Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges)
Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015, not instead of them.
Nothing here reduces them.

here reads differently from them, whichever is more favourable to you is
the one that applies.
## How to cancel
Email **matt@mattlocoaching.com** saying clearly that you want to
cancel. That's it. You don't need to give a reason, and you won't get a
sales call trying to talk you out of it.
## One more thing
In fourteen years, the people who did the work have never needed either
of these. And before any money changes hands, if I don't think this is
right for you, I'll tell you on the call — I'd rather point you
somewhere better than take your money and watch you leave
disappointed.
